Prudential cancels repurchased shares and buys back further 313,355 shares

Prudential plc announced on Nov, 10 2025 that it cancelled 280,048 ordinary shares repurchased on Nov, 05 2025, reducing its issued share capital to 2,560,042,963 shares.

The company also disclosed that it bought back 313,355 ordinary shares on Nov, 07 2025 on the London Stock Exchange for cancellation. The shares were repurchased at prices ranging from about S$18.0 to S$18.4 per share, for a total consideration of approximately 5.68 million Singapore dollars. The purchase represents around 0.012 % of the company’s issued share capital prior to the transaction.

Including the Nov, 06 2025 buyback of 254,334 shares that is still pending cancellation, Prudential currently has 567,689 repurchased shares awaiting cancellation. The company is authorised to repurchase up to 262,668,701 shares under its current mandate, of which 46,959,603 shares have been bought back to date.

Prudential is subject to a moratorium on issuing new shares or transferring treasury shares until Dec, 07 2025, in line with applicable share repurchase regulations.
