Domestic Futures Show Mixed Opening Performance with SC Crude Surging Nearly 10%

On March 5, 2026, at the opening of the morning session, domestic futures main contracts displayed mixed performance. SC crude oil rose by nearly 10%, while European container freight futures increased by close to 5%. Shanghai tin futures advanced nearly 4%, and lithium carbonate futures climbed over 3%. Shanghai aluminum, aluminum alloy, and Shanghai silver futures all rose more than 2%. On the downside, methanol futures fell over 3%, and liquefied petroleum gas (LPG) futures declined more than 2%.
