China Power International, a subsidiary of State Power Investment Corporation, reported that its Shentou power generation plant achieved a total electricity output of 1.308 billion kilowatt-hours in February across four thermal power units. This represents an increase of 95 million kilowatt-hours compared to the same period last year. The plant also successfully secured full recovery of capacity-related electricity fees.
Since the beginning of February, the company has focused on ensuring energy supply and improving operational efficiency. It has coordinated efforts in safety production, equipment maintenance, fuel supply, and grid dispatch collaboration. The plant worked diligently to maximize power generation, striving for every possible kilowatt-hour. Despite challenges such as holiday staffing and extreme weather conditions, the company strengthened 24-hour monitoring, enhanced equipment inspection and risk management, optimized unit load distribution and operational parameters, and improved overall reliability and generation efficiency.
Additionally, the plant improved coordination with grid dispatchers to accurately match load demand and seize generation opportunities. Efforts were also made to ensure stable fuel supply and pricing, streamline coal transportation and unloading processes, and guarantee sufficient "fuel rations" for the units to operate at full capacity and stability.
