2月20日周五，医疗公司 GRAIL, Inc. 在盘前交易中暴跌超47%，此前该公司癌症试验结果令投资者失望。
公司表示，在一项涵盖超过14.2万名50至77岁人群的英国国家医疗服务体系（NHS）试验中，其多癌种筛查检测Galleri未能带来“统计学显著”的三期和四期癌症减少。
Galleri是一种由Grail开发的血液检测，用于在癌症出现症状前筛查多种癌症。
不过，Grail称，在12种致命癌症的分组中，三期和四期癌症数量出现“有利趋势”的下降，同时早期癌症（通常较晚才被发现）的诊断数量有所增加。
但该试验最终未能实现其主要目标——在晚期癌症方面达到统计学显著下降。收盘后股价暴跌48%至52.25美元；截至周四收盘，该股在过去六个月已上涨逾200%。
Grail于1月向美国食品药品监督管理局（FDA）提交了上市前批准申请。公司补充称，提交材料中包含了NHS试验第一年的结果。
这家生物科技公司还在周四晚些时候公布了财报，但基本被试验结果所掩盖。Grail第四季度每股亏损2.44美元，好于预期；营收4360万美元，与华尔街预估基本一致。
