Special Report: 2025 Sustainable Global Leaders Conference & First Green Industry and Sustainable Consumption Expo The 2025 Sustainable Global Leaders Conference was held from October 16 to 18 at the Expo Park in Huangpu District, Shanghai. Fang Haoze, President of RICI Health and General Manager of the Health Check-up Division, attended and delivered a speech.

Fang Haoze pointed out that the choice of entering the health check-up business is not only due to the adaptability of his non-medical background but also stems from an insight into the differences in medical concepts between China and other countries. In developed nations such as Japan and the United States, public awareness of health check-ups and education on scientific health check-up concepts are far superior to those in China, while public hospitals tend to undervalue the health check-up sector. Private medical institutions can fill this gap and promote the upgrade of medical consumption. He emphasized that the "Healthy China 2030" plan sets a challenging goal of increasing the average lifespan of citizens by three years. Japan, which ranks first in Asia with an average lifespan, only improves by one year every decade. To achieve the goal of extending Chinese life expectancy by three years in five years, preventive medicine must play a crucial role. Currently, Chinese consumers still tend to invest in healthcare "after getting sick," rather than shifting towards "preventive care." Private health check-up institutions can contribute to societal health by increasing penetration rates and educating on health concepts, thus narrowing the gap with Europe, the United States, and Japan. In terms of corporate management and talent development, Fang Haoze shared methods for personalized training and selection of young cadres. He encourages targeted young employees to independently fill out their salary goals and career advancement plans for the coming years, prioritizing those willing to commit long-term (such as planning for 10-15 years). He uses fun questions to help assess talent characteristics, for example, asking young men if they prefer Kobe (indicating a tendency for independence) or LeBron (indicating teamwork), and understanding women's interests in new phenomena to explore their personality and capability fit. He also emphasizes alignment of values, favoring young individuals who show interest in trends like anime and Pop Mart, believing this group is more likely to infuse innovative thinking into the traditional healthcare industry. He indicated that the traditional healthcare industry can break stereotypes through cross-disciplinary innovation, such as training sales teams to acquire medical knowledge to reach a "half-doctor" level of professionalism, thereby cultivating versatile talent. Fang Haoze stressed that as a labor-intensive company, RICI Health sees human resource costs accounting for nearly 30%, emphasizing that employees are the company's most valuable asset. He particularly cherishes young talent aged 30-50 who demonstrate originality and creativity, saying, "Future youth must maintain their individuality; this is very important. Without personality and their own ideas, they are no different from the elderly." The 2025 Sustainable Global Leaders Conference is co-hosted by the World Green Design Organization (WGDO) and Sina Group, with the International Financial Reporting Standards Foundation (IFRS Foundation) Beijing Office as a co-organizer. Organized by Sina Finance and the WGDO Beijing Representative Office, the event is supported by the Huangpu District People's Government in Shanghai.
