On Tuesday, stocks in the optical communications sector experienced widespread increases. Applied Optoelectronics (AAOI.US) surged more than 10%. POET Technologies (POET.US) rose nearly 10%. Lumentum (LITE.US) and Coherent (COHR.US) both gained over 8%. Nokia (NOK.US) and Marvell Technology (MRVL.US) advanced more than 5%. Corning (GLW.US) climbed close to 5%, while Credo Technology (CRDO.US) increased by more than 4%.
