Imperium Technology Group Limited (Imperium Technology) has issued a profit warning, indicating it expects to record a consolidated net loss of about HK$65.00 million for the 15-month period ended 31 March 2026. This compares with a net loss of HK$41.70 million for the 12 months ended 31 December 2024, implying the loss will widen by roughly HK$23.30 million.

Management attributes the deeper deficit to three main factors:

1. Finance costs: An additional HK$11.30 million in finance expenses arose from higher effective interest rates and the extension of the reporting period from 12 to 15 months.

2. Cryptocurrency impairment: Falling market prices prompted an extra HK$3.30 million impairment on cryptocurrencies and related deposits and receivables.

3. Corporate overheads: Expenses increased by about HK$5.70 million, also linked to the longer financial period.

The board will convene on 29 June 2026 to approve the annual results and consider any final dividend. Shareholders and prospective investors are urged to exercise caution when trading the company’s shares until the audited results are released.
