Hengan International: Chairman Sze Man Bok Takes Temporary Medical Leave; Board Affirms Normal Operations

Hengan International Group Company Limited reported that Chairman and Executive Director Mr. Sze Man Bok has commenced a temporary leave of absence due to personal health reasons.

The Board stated that day-to-day management, strategic execution and operational decision-making continue under the established executive leadership team, led by Chief Executive Officer Mr. Hui Ching Lau, the remaining executive directors and senior executives. Management underscores that all business activities are proceeding without interruption.

Citing the Board’s diverse expertise and strong governance framework, the announcement emphasizes that Mr. Sze’s temporary leave is not expected to have any material adverse impact on the Group’s business, financial position or daily operations.

The Board extended full support to Mr. Sze and conveyed wishes for his speedy recovery. As of 9 June 2026, the Board comprises five executive directors, one non-executive director and four independent non-executive directors.
