On Wednesday, Stride (LRN.US) saw its shares plummet more than 50% to $75.69. The company reported first-quarter earnings of $1.40 per share, beating analysts' estimates of $1.13, while quarterly revenue reached $620.9 million, exceeding the consensus forecast of $613.7 million. However, Stride projected second-quarter revenue between $620 million and $640 million, below analysts' expectations of $647.76 million. For fiscal year 2026, the company anticipates revenue in the range of $2.48 billion to $2.55 billion, significantly lower than the $2.67 billion analysts had predicted.
