HUANENG POWER (00902) announced that following shareholder approval of the resolution to appoint Mr. Liu Ancang as an executive director of the company's 11th Board of Directors, Mr. Liu Ancang officially assumes his position from the conclusion of the extraordinary general meeting, with his term lasting until the expiration of the 11th Board of Directors' term. Additionally, Mr. Liu Ancang has been appointed as a member of the company's Board Strategy Committee and Nomination Committee.
