The significant rise follows the company's announcement regarding a key advancement in the global rollout of its self-developed MemoSorb® bioresorbable implants. The company's MemoSorb® Atrial Septal Defect (ASD) and Patent Foramen Ovale (PFO) occluders have recently been successfully implanted for the first time in Italy and Russia.
In Italy, the first implant procedure was performed at Sant'Eugenio Hospital in Rome. This milestone represents a crucial step in expanding the MemoSorb® footprint in Southern Europe and signifies the company's global strategy is evolving from isolated breakthroughs to a phase of deeper, more extensive development.
Concurrently, the first batch of implants in Russia was successfully completed at the Bakulev National Medical Research Center for Cardiovascular Surgery in Moscow. This marks the official entry of the MemoSorb® technology into the Russian clinical market, adding another key location to SCIENTECH's expanding global presence.
