Changde's municipal government has formalized a strategic partnership with Zhiyuan Innovation (Shanghai) Technology Co., Ltd. (referred to as Zhiyuan) to advance the deployment of embodied intelligence initiatives within the city. The agreement was officially inked on August 28, marking a significant step in integrating cutting-edge AI robotics technology into the region's industrial landscape.
During the signing ceremony, the city's Party Secretary Luo Yijun and Mayor Zhou Zhenyu met with Zhiyuan's partner, co-president, and chief operating officer Jiang Qingsong, who led the delegation and witnessed the agreement. The officials emphasized that Changde is actively fostering new productive forces, particularly in embodied intelligence, and stressed that collaboration with leading enterprises in this sector is more critical now than ever.
Positioned as a key link between the Chengdu-Chongqing economic circle and the middle reaches of the Yangtze River city cluster, Changde boasts superior computing power and communication infrastructure, ranking among the top in the province. With a robust manufacturing base, a wealth of application scenarios, and a steady supply of skilled talent, the city is well-equipped to support advanced technology ventures. The leadership expressed hope that this agreement would serve as a foundation for deeper, more practical cooperation, allowing "Changde's manufacturing capabilities" and "Zhiyuan's technological innovations" to complement and elevate one another.
Zhiyuan's representative highlighted Changde's strong advanced manufacturing roots, convenient multimodal transportation network combining road, rail, and water, and abundant industrial land and energy resources as key reasons for selecting the city as an important partner. The collaboration will focus on four core areas: components, data, talent cultivation, and the promotion of deployment applications. The project will open supply chain selection channels to high-quality local supporting companies, integrating the best candidates into the supplier system while also pursuing in-depth cooperation in regional market sales and product distribution agency arrangements.
In return, the Changde government has pledged comprehensive support to ensure the agreement's full implementation. This includes preferential policy backing, guaranteed essential resources, open application scenarios, and optimized industrial supply-demand matching, all aimed at providing the best services and robust support for Zhiyuan's growth and expansion in the city.
