With the National Day holiday rush approaching, travelers catching early flights from Beijing Daxing International Airport or arriving late for a layover can now choose from a variety of overnight options at different price points introduced by the airport.
Inside the security-checked area of the Daxing terminal, multiple free rest zones for overnight passengers feature reclining seats, complete with charging ports and USB outlets to keep devices powered. Thanks to the excellent views from the pier corridors, travelers can relax while overlooking the apron and watching aircraft take off and land, making the waiting experience far more comfortable.
Those seeking a quieter environment can head to the lie-flat area at the end of Pier A, open from 8 p.m. to 7 a.m. daily, where foldable cots are available for rent starting at 20 yuan. The 20-yuan cots, made of blue Oxford fabric, number 40 in total, while the 40-yuan premium cots feature gray twill fabric with high-elasticity cotton padding and a memory foam headrest for extra softness and support, with 140 units available. Travelers can scan a QR code on site or book through the "Xingxianxian" mini-program, with same-day reservations opening at 5 p.m. daily until fully booked.
A firsthand experience shows that, compared with other terminal areas, the lighting in the lie-flat zone is deliberately dimmed to better suit nighttime sleep. Although it is an open public space, thoughtful separate zones for men and women have been arranged to protect different groups' privacy.
In response to family travelers' overnight needs, Daxing Airport has this year added tent rental services, with medium tents priced at 109 yuan and large tents at 129 yuan. Each tent includes a mattress and disposable sheets, accommodating two adults and one child under two years old. Once the tent curtain is drawn shut, it becomes a private space, greatly enhancing privacy.
The airport also offers timed rest rooms and high-quality aviation hotel options, ensuring that travelers with different budgets can all find a suitable overnight solution.
