CNE TECH CORP (00611) announced that on August 4, 2025, Nanjing CNNC (an indirect wholly-owned subsidiary of the company) entered into an energy storage system equipment procurement agreement with Envision Energy (as supplier), under which Nanjing CNNC agrees to purchase and Envision Energy agrees to sell certain energy storage system equipment at a procurement price of RMB 141.6 million. Additionally, the company signed a construction agreement with Hebei Jingxia (as contractor) for installation and construction services valued at RMB 63.36 million.
The transactions under both the energy storage system equipment procurement agreement and the construction agreement are intended for the development of the Jiyuan Energy Storage Power Station. The Jiyuan Energy Storage Power Station is expected to be connected to the grid by August 30, 2025, or earlier. Upon completion of construction, the Jiyuan Energy Storage Power Station will be owned and operated by the Group.
The Group has been continuously investing in the construction of energy storage power stations in China over the past several years. The energy storage system equipment and installation and construction services under the construction agreement are crucial for the installation, construction, and development of the Group's Jiyuan Energy Storage Power Station.
The investment in constructing the Jiyuan Energy Storage Power Station will help promote the achievement of national "dual carbon goals" (carbon peak before 2030 and carbon neutrality before 2060) environmental objectives and rural revitalization. This aligns with relevant national industrial policy directions and the Group's strategic objectives for green energy project development.
