U.S. Stocks Rise While Hong Kong ADRs Show Mixed Performance on April 9

On Wednesday, the three major U.S. stock indices closed higher. In contrast, the Hang Seng Index ADRs declined, with the proportional calculation showing a close at 25,863.20 points, down 29.82 points or 0.12% from the Hong Kong market close. Large-cap blue-chip stocks exhibited mixed results. HSBC Holdings closed at HK$141.406, up 2.02% from its Hong Kong closing price. Tencent Holdings ended at HK$507.225, down 0.15% compared to its Hong Kong close.
