Fuel Price Adjustment Schedule for Early September

Following the established pricing mechanism for refined oil products, the next fuel price adjustment is scheduled for 24:00 on September 11 (next Friday). Halfway through the current pricing cycle, statistics show a shift from an initial decline to a projected increase, with estimated gains exceeding 0.15 yuan per liter—making another price hike highly likely this cycle.

Escalating geopolitical tensions in the Middle East and rising shipping risks in the Strait of Hormuz have fueled a rapid surge in crude oil's risk premium, driving both international and domestic crude prices sharply higher this week.

Calculations from the fifth working day of the cycle indicate gasoline and diesel are expected to rise by 160 yuan per tonne and 155 yuan per tonne, respectively. Converted to retail prices, this implies an increase of 0.13 yuan per liter for 92-octane gasoline, 0.14 yuan per liter for 95-octane gasoline, and 0.13 yuan per liter for 0-diesel. Filling a 50-liter tank would cost approximately 6.5 to 7 yuan more.

Please note that these figures are only forecast estimates and the final adjustment will be subject to official announcements.
