消息面上，据新华社29日报道，美国上诉法院恢复实施特朗普政府关税政策。美国联邦巡回上诉法院29日批准特朗普政府的请求，暂时搁置美国国际贸易法院此前做出的禁止执行特朗普政府依据《国际紧急经济权力法》对多国加征关税措施的行政令的裁决。
摩根士丹利则认为，即使美国对进口苹果iPhone征收25%关税，也不足以促使苹果将生产线搬回美国。分析指出，在美国生产iPhone的成本将比在中国或印度高出35%，远超25%关税导致的4%至6%售价上升。该行估计，在美国新建iPhone组装线至少需要两年以上时间，花费数十亿美元。
