Agricultural Bank Alerts Clients to Gold Trading Contract Limit Adjustments and Position Risks

On February 25, the Agricultural Bank of China issued an announcement stating that, in accordance with the Shanghai Gold Exchange's risk management regulations, the exchange has notified adjustments to the daily price fluctuation limits for Gold Market Access (Agency) business contracts. The specific adjustments are as follows: Starting from the close of trading on Tuesday, February 24, 2026, the daily price fluctuation limits for Au (T+D) and mAu (T+D) contracts will be adjusted from 20% to 17%, while the limits for Ag (T+D) contracts will be adjusted from 26% to 23%. Any further adjustments to the price fluctuation limits for these contracts will be announced separately. The Agricultural Bank of China advises clients to pay attention to the changes in price fluctuation limits and associated position risks, manage position sizes prudently, and engage in rational trading.
