Accelerant Holdings (ARX.US), a Cayman Islands-based insurance marketplace, disclosed terms for its initial public offering on Tuesday. The specialized risk exchange platform plans to raise approximately $550 million by offering 28.9 million shares priced between $18 and $20 apiece. Should pricing settle at the midpoint, Accelerant would achieve a fully diluted market capitalization of $4.8 billion.
Operating a data-driven exchange model, Accelerant bridges specialty insurance underwriters (supply side) with institutional risk capital partners (demand side). For underwriter members, the platform delivers comprehensive services spanning analytical insights, distribution management, operational resources, and committed underwriting capacity. Capital partners gain exclusive access to specialized insurance premiums often unavailable through conventional channels.
Since its 2018 founding, Accelerant has demonstrated robust growth, posting $653 million in revenue during the twelve months ending March 31, 2025. The company will list on the New York Stock Exchange under the ticker ARX, with Morgan Stanley, Goldman Sachs, BMO Capital Markets, and RBC Capital Markets leading the underwriting syndicate. Final pricing is anticipated during the week commencing July 21, 2025.
