据报道，CAVA集团将全年餐厅同店销售额增长预期从此前的4%至6%下调至3%至4%。此外，公司还将餐厅年度利润率预期从24.8%-25.2%下调至24.4%-24.8%。这是CAVA集团今年第二次下调年度同店销售增长预期，反映出外出就餐需求疲软，尤其是在低收入和年轻顾客群体中。
CAVA集团首席财务官特里西娅·托利瓦尔表示，由于失业率上升、学生贷款恢复支付和房租上涨，25至35岁的顾客群体正面临压力并缩减开支。此外，公司第三季度财报也不及预期，收入为2.898亿美元，低于分析师预期的2.9259亿美元；每股收益为12美分，同样低于分析师预期的13美分。这些因素综合导致投资者信心受挫，从而引发了股价的大幅下跌。
