CIMC Buys Back 2.26 Million H Shares for HK$19.73 Million, Lifting Treasury Stock to 79.20 Million Units

China International Marine Containers (Group) Co., Ltd. (CIMC) repurchased 2.26 million H shares on 12 June 2026 through on-market transactions, paying a total of HK$19.73 million. The repurchase price ranged from HK$8.59 to HK$8.78 per share, translating into a volume-weighted average of HK$8.72.

Following the buyback, issued shares outstanding (excluding treasury stock) fell by 0.08% to 3.01 billion, while treasury shares rose to 79.20 million. Total issued share capital remains unchanged at 3.09 billion shares.

The transaction forms part of CIMC’s share repurchase mandate approved on 15 May 2025, which authorises the company to buy back up to 308.98 million shares. Cumulative repurchases under this mandate now stand at 79.20 million shares, representing 2.56% of the issued share base at the time the mandate was granted.

Under Hong Kong listing rules, CIMC is restricted from issuing new shares or selling treasury shares until 12 July 2026. The company confirmed that the latest repurchase complied with all applicable regulations, according to Company Secretary Wu Sanqiang.
