美国政府大手笔砸向核燃料制造商，带动核电股集体大涨

美国政府宣布，将向 Centrus Energy Corp. 及另外两家核燃料制造商各拨款9亿美元，合共约27亿美元，以重启本土核燃料生产，并降低对俄罗斯浓缩铀的依赖。消息刺激下，Centrus股价一度升逾一成。

美国能源部指出，Centrus将获资金用于开发面向下一代反应堆的核燃料；其余两家受惠企业分别为彼得・蒂尔投资的 General Matter，以及法国 Orano SA 拟于田纳西州设厂的美国子公司。

是次拨款正值政府推动扩大核工业之际。随着AI数据中心建设加快，用电需求攀升，核能被视为纾缓电价压力的重要选项。能源部长赖特表示，政府将与业界及国会合作，建立安全的本土核燃料供应链，满足现有及未来先进反应堆需求。

相关资金于2024年由国会拨出，原意在削减对俄罗斯核燃料依赖并重振美国核燃料产业。另能源部亦向 Global Laser Enrichment 拨款2,800万美元，以推进下一代铀浓缩技术研发。
