Acme International ends planned share placing due to market conditions

Acme International Holdings Limited announced that it has mutually agreed with the placing agent to terminate the placing of new shares that had been proposed under a general mandate. The deed of termination was signed on 5 August 2026, bringing the original placing agreement—first disclosed on 17 July 2026—to an immediate end.

Management stated that ending the transaction will not have a material adverse impact on the group’s current business operations or financial position. The board also noted that the company may explore alternative fund-raising options depending on future corporate development and prevailing market conditions, and it will issue further disclosures if required.

As of the announcement date, the board comprises three executive directors—Kwan Kam Tim, Yip Wing Shing and Zhang Guangying—and three independent non-executive directors: Prof. Hon. Lau Chi Pang, BBS, J.P., Chin Wai Keung Richard and Prof. Mo Lai Lan.
