With the National Day and Mid-Autumn Festival holidays approaching, Hong Kong stocks will be closed for one day on October 1st (Wednesday) for National Day, with normal trading resuming on October 2nd (Thursday). Hong Kong stocks will also be closed on October 7th (Tuesday), the day after Mid-Autumn Festival which is a public holiday in Hong Kong, with trading resuming on October 8th (Wednesday).
For the Stock Connect southbound service, Hong Kong Stock Connect will be suspended from October 1st (Wednesday) to October 8th (Wednesday), with normal service resuming on October 9th (Thursday). Additionally, markets will be closed on September 28th (Sunday) and October 11th (Saturday) for the weekend.
Regarding Shanghai-Hong Kong Stock Connect and Shenzhen-Hong Kong Stock Connect northbound services, these will be suspended from October 1st (Wednesday) to October 8th (Wednesday), with normal service resuming on October 9th (Thursday).
A-shares will be closed from October 1st (Wednesday) to October 8th (Wednesday), with normal trading resuming on October 9th (Thursday). Additionally, markets will be closed on September 28th (Sunday) and October 11th (Saturday) for the weekend.
US stocks will continue normal trading.
