DATANG ENVIRO (01272) announced that on April 1, 2026, the company, acting as the buyer, entered into an asset transfer agreement with Guiguan Panzhou, the seller. The company intends to acquire from the seller a total of 49 scrapped assets, comprising 38 wind turbines and ancillary equipment from the DATANG Sige Wind Farm held by Guiguan Panzhou, for a consideration of approximately RMB 24.5741 million.
This acquisition represents the group's first demonstration project in the field of renewable energy solid waste resource utilization. By dismantling, disposing of, and utilizing the acquired scrapped wind power equipment, the group anticipates achieving considerable economic benefits while effectively reducing environmental pollution and carbon emissions.
Consequently, the board of directors believes the acquisition aligns with the group's strategic development objectives. It will enable the group to (i) achieve favorable economic returns through the efficient recycling and disposal of scrapped assets; (ii) promote environmental sustainability and carbon reduction efforts, thereby fulfilling its corporate social responsibilities; and (iii) establish a solid strategic foundation for the further expansion of its resource recycling industry.
