Weigao Group repurchases 0.24 million H-shares on 6 May, lifting treasury stock to 54.32 million

Shandong Weigao Group Medical Polymer Company Limited (Weigao Group) disclosed a share repurchase on 6 May 2026 under its existing mandate.

• Transaction details – Volume: 240,000 H-shares, equivalent to 0.0054 % of the company’s issued share capital (excluding treasury shares) prior to the transaction. – Price range: HKD 3.43 to HKD 3.46 per share; volume-weighted average price HKD 3.4425. – Aggregate consideration: HKD 0.83 million. – Repurchase method: on-market buy-back through the Hong Kong Stock Exchange. – Purpose: shares will be held as treasury stock; no shares were cancelled.

• Capital structure after the repurchase (as of 6 May 2026) – Issued shares (excluding treasury): 4.46801 billion. – Treasury shares: 54.32 million (up from 54.08 million). – Total issued shares (including treasury): unchanged at 4.52233 billion.

• Repurchase mandate utilisation – Authorised under the mandate dated 27 May 2025: up to 451.56 million shares. – Cumulative shares repurchased to date: 47.67 million, representing 10.56 % of the mandate limit. – A 30-day moratorium on new share issues or treasury-share disposals is in effect until 6 June 2026, in line with Hong Kong Listing Rules.

The company confirmed that the buy-back complied with all relevant regulatory requirements and that funds for the repurchase have been duly settled.
