Stock Track | VGT Plummets 5.36% Intraday as NVIDIA Order Concerns and PCB Sector Pullback Linger

Stock Track
Aug 05

VGT shares tumbled 5.36% in intraday trading, as investors remained unsettled by ongoing uncertainty surrounding the company's supply share on NVIDIA's Rubin platform.

Despite the company's repeated clarifications that rumors of major client order interruptions are untrue and that business is progressing smoothly, the denials have paradoxically deepened wait-and-see sentiment. The decline was also compounded by a broader pullback in the PCB sector, with peers such as KB Laminates and Kingboard Holdings falling as the sector's two-day rebound momentum faded.

Industry research had previously confirmed that a short-circuit issue had been fully resolved and was not related to PCB quality defects. JPMorgan reiterated an Overweight rating and a HK$500 target price, noting that the market appears to have overreacted to short-term headwinds.
