ZEEKR Announces Voluntary Battery Replacement Program for Select Older 001 WE 86 Models

Deep News
Yesterday

ZEEKR has filed a recall plan with the State Administration for Market Regulation, voluntarily recalling specific older versions of the ZEEKR 001 WE 86 produced between July 2021 and March 2024. The company will conduct inspections or remote diagnostics and provide free replacement of the power battery for affected vehicles. The warranty for the three key electric components will remain unchanged after the battery replacement.

This recall does not involve any currently available models for sale. ZEEKR stated that it continues to make significant investments in safety, with the power battery safety standards for all its models exceeding the latest national requirements. For vehicles already delivered, ZEEKR relies on an all-weather, multi-dimensional cloud monitoring system to dynamically track core safety indicators and identify potential risks in advance.
