HEICO's stock surged 10.21% in the after-hours session on Wednesday, following the release of its fiscal second-quarter financial results.
The aerospace and electronics components maker reported earnings and revenue that significantly exceeded Wall Street expectations. HEICO posted Q2 EPS of $1.66, beating the consensus estimate of $1.33. Revenue for the quarter came in at $1.38 billion, surpassing the expected $1.25 billion.
The strong performance was driven by a 25% increase in net sales and a 49% jump in net income to $233.8 million. Management cited robust 18% organic net sales growth and contributions from recent acquisitions as key factors behind the results. The company's operating margin also expanded to 25.5%, indicating improved profitability.
