Chinese Ministry of Finance Successfully Issues Fourth Tranche of RMB 15 Billion Sovereign Bonds in Hong Kong for 2026

The Ministry of Finance announced that on August 5, the People's Republic of China Ministry of Finance conducted a tender for institutional investors in the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region, issuing the fourth tranche of RMB 15 billion in sovereign bonds for 2026, which was well-received by investors with a subscription ratio of 4.67 times.

Of this issuance, RMB 5 billion in 2-year bonds were offered at a yield of 1.27%; RMB 4 billion in 3-year bonds at a yield of 1.30%; RMB 4 billion in 5-year bonds at a yield of 1.43%; RMB 1 billion in 15-year bonds at a yield of 1.99%; and RMB 1 billion in 30-year bonds at a yield of 2.24%.
