2月3日，华特迪士尼公司董事会今日宣布，经周一一致投票，董事会选举迪士尼体验业务董事长乔什·达马罗(Josh D'Amaro)出任华特迪士尼公司首席执行官，该任命将于2026年3月18日举行的年度股东大会上生效，届时他将接替长期担任迪士尼首席执行官的鲍勃·艾格(Robert A. Iger)。董事会还计划在股东大会结束后立即任命达马罗为董事。
达马罗在迪士尼工作了28年，是公司最大的业务部门——迪士尼体验业务的负责人。该业务部门2025财年的年收入达360亿美元，在全球拥有18.5万名演职人员和员工。达马罗是迪士尼历史上规模最大的全球扩张计划的策划者，并带领该业务部门在财务、创意和顾客满意度方面都取得了新的突破。
