Recently, as the 2026 New Year's Day draws near, Liangting Township in Guangshan County, Xinyang City, Henan Province, hosted a "Celebrate New Year's Day, Welcome the New Year" cultural performance along the Linxian River in Nongkezhan Village. At the event, village cadres and local residents jointly watched selected promotional videos, including documentaries of key annual work and showcases of the tea town's charm. Through the thriving scenes of the tea industry, they experienced the achievements in rural construction, improved living environment, and enhanced people's well-being across various fields. Folk artists and cadres at the village and township levels also presented splendid cultural programs to the local people, displaying cultural allure through traditional folk customs and conveying a joyous and harmonious atmosphere of rural development.

Tan Jing, Secretary of the Party Committee of Liangting Township, noted that over the past year, Liangting Township has made certain achievements in rural construction. He hoped that all cadres and masses in the township would inherit the struggling spirit with gratitude, strengthen the foundation for development through unity, embark on the new journey with original aspirations, take tea as a medium to enrich the people and strengthen the township, and solidify the local characteristics based on simple folk customs.
