Shangri-La Asia to Seek Shareholder Approval for Bye-Laws Update

Shangri-La Asia Limited announced on Mar, 26 2026 that its board will propose amendments to the company’s Bye-Laws at the forthcoming annual general meeting.

The revisions aim to accommodate the expanded paperless listing regime, permitting hybrid or fully electronic general meetings, electronic voting and the issuance of corporate documents via the company website without additional consent.

If approved by special resolution, the amended and restated Bye-Laws will take effect immediately after the close of the annual general meeting.

A circular detailing the proposed changes and the notice of meeting will be dispatched to shareholders in due course.

The board is led by Chairman and Group Chief Executive Officer Kuok Hui Kwong, with Seow Chow Loong Iain serving as company secretary.
