According to a post on X by an Axios reporter, Israel has attacked Iran's largest natural gas processing facility. The reporter cited a senior Israeli official stating that the United States approved and coordinated the strike. This marks the first time upstream oil and gas facilities have been targeted in such an operation by the U.S. and Israel. Iran has reported that its key South Pars resource was hit in the airstrike.
