Parkson Retail Group Limited (3368.HK) reported total operating revenues of RMB823.9 million for the third quarter of 2025, a decrease of 1.4% compared to the same period last year. For the first nine months of 2025, total operating revenues reached RMB2,786.7 million, representing a year-on-year increase of 0.2%. Same store sales in the third quarter declined by 13.8%, while the cumulative drop for the nine-month period was 17.2%.
Gross sales proceeds in the third quarter amounted to RMB1,634.8 million, down 9.8% year-on-year, and stood at RMB5,790.1 million for the first nine months, down 11.0% year-on-year. Concessionaire sales made up 69.8% of nine-month merchandise sales at RMB2,873.3 million, while direct sales contributed RMB1,244.6 million at 30.2%.
Profit from operations in the third quarter was RMB117.6 million. For the first nine months, profit from operations totaled RMB375.2 million, reflecting a 32.4% year-on-year increase from RMB283.4 million. Profit attributable to owners of the Company for the nine-month period was RMB23.4 million, compared with a loss of RMB29.3 million in the same period in 2024.
Management attributed the decrease in gross sales proceeds to cautious consumer spending amid external uncertainty and subdued household income growth expectations. The period’s results also reflected reduced depreciation and amortisation costs stemming from changes in rental and payment terms for certain stores. As of 30 September 2025, operations covered 41 Parkson stores and 2 Parkson Newcore City Malls across 25 cities in the People’s Republic of China and Laos.
