Kyivstar Group Ltd's stock soared 12.06% during intraday trading on Friday, extending significant pre-market gains.
The sharp rise was driven by the company's release of better-than-expected fourth-quarter and full-year 2025 financial results. Kyivstar reported adjusted earnings per share of $0.37 for Q4, surpassing the analyst consensus estimate of $0.32 by 17.46%. Quarterly revenue of $321 million also beat expectations of $302.94 million, representing a 28.4% year-over-year increase.
Investors responded enthusiastically to the company's remarkable digital transformation. Digital revenue skyrocketed, increasing more than sixfold in the fourth quarter alone and jumping 467% for the full year to $124 million. This growth was largely fueled by the April 2025 acquisition of ride-hailing platform Uklon. The company's core profit (EBITDA) for 2025 rose 26%, and management provided optimistic 2026 guidance, expecting USD revenue growth of 8%-11% and EBITDA growth of 5%-8%.
