据要求匿名透露消息人士称，收购要约旨在将这家多伦多上市公司私有化。博裕资本和安宏资本已提出口头报价，估值相当于加拿大鹅12个月平均息税折旧摊销前利润（EBITDA）的8倍，对应估值约13.5亿美元。
消息人士表示，贝恩资本暂未做出决定，正在等待更多报价。他们补充称，一旦选定买家，预计将在不到两个月内完成尽职调查并签署协议。
股价上涨使加拿大鹅估值升至13.7亿美元，较CNBC报道前的11亿美元有所提升。该股今年迄今涨幅已超21%。虽然较2018年上市次年77亿美元的峰值估值相去甚远，但当前估值仍意味着贝恩资本将获得超额回报——2013年其控股该公司时估值仅报2.5亿美元。
