VIP Gambling Revenue in Macau Rises Over 35% Year-on-Year in First Quarter

Macau's Gaming Inspection and Coordination Bureau reported that VIP gambling revenue reached MOP 19.575 billion in the first quarter of the year, representing a year-on-year increase of 35.4%. However, it declined by 3.63% compared to the previous quarter. During the period, VIP gambling accounted for 29.71% of total gaming revenue, up 4.64 percentage points from 25.07% in the same quarter last year. Nevertheless, this share was slightly lower than the 30.75% recorded in the fourth quarter of last year.
