China Nonferrous Mining Corporation Limited (Stock Code: 01258) has reported changes to its board of directors, effective 28 October 2025. Non-Executive Director Mr. Yaoyu Tan resigned from both his director position and his membership in the company’s Audit Committee due to other business commitments. Mr. Tan confirmed that there are no disagreements with the board and no matters that warrant the attention of shareholders.
In conjunction with this departure, the company announced the appointment of Mr. Zhijiang Chen as Non-Executive Director and Audit Committee member, also effective 28 October 2025. Aged 44, Mr. Chen holds a bachelor’s degree in Accounting from Beijing Technology and Business University. He joined the Finance Department of China Nonferrous Metal Industry’s Foreign Engineering and Construction Co., Ltd. in July 2003 and has held multiple financial management roles, including chief financial officer at NFC Kazakhstan Ltd. and, most recently, deputy general manager of the Finance Shared Centre at China Nonferrous Metal Mining (Group) Co., Ltd.
Mr. Chen’s initial term as Non-Executive Director spans three years from 28 October 2025. According to the company, he will not receive director’s remuneration but is eligible for reasonable expense reimbursements. The board extended its appreciation for Mr. Tan’s contributions and offered a warm welcome to Mr. Chen. As of the date of the announcement, all relevant disclosures regarding directorships, share interests, and relationships have been confirmed, with no additional matters requiring the attention of shareholders.
