CSTONE PHARMA-B (02616) saw its share price jump more than 4% during Tuesday morning trading. At the time of writing, the stock was up 4.73% at HK$5.975, with trading turnover reaching HK$11.53 million.

The rally comes as the company released its interim results, showing first-half revenue of RMB 205 million, a substantial increase of 314.75% year-on-year. This figure includes RMB 183 million in drug sales, primarily generated from pralsetinib, avapritinib, and sugemalimab. Notably, pralsetinib has been the main revenue growth driver, with hospital sales surging nearly 500% year-on-year between January and July 2026, following its inclusion in the National Reimbursement Drug List in January 2026.

Adding to the positive momentum, Hang Seng Indexes recently announced the results of its quarterly index review, which saw CSTONE PHARMA-B added to the Hang Seng Composite Index. The index changes will be implemented after the market close on September 4th and become effective on September 7th. Following this, the Shanghai and Shenzhen stock exchanges will correspondingly adjust the eligible securities for the Stock Connect program. As the company now meets a range of criteria, including market capitalisation and liquidity requirements, it is possible that CSTONE PHARMA-B will be included in the Stock Connect scheme.
