8月25日（路透社）——SkyCity娱乐集团有限公司发布公告，就近期媒体猜测作出正式回应。该公司表示，注意到外界关于其与橡树资本（Oaktree Capital）就潜在收购事宜进行磋商的报道，并确认相关讨论确实存在。
据悉，早在今年五月，SkyCity就已收到由橡树资本管理的一只特殊状况基金所提出的收购要约。该提案给出的指示性价格为每股0.70新西兰元现金。值得注意的是，在同一月份，SkyCity还收到了来自另一方的收购提案，该提案的隐含指示性价格更为优厚，达到每股0.75新西兰元现金。
然而，面对这两份收购意向，SkyCity董事会经过审慎评估后一致认定，这些提案均未能充分反映公司的内在价值。令人遗憾的是，在此之后，无论是橡树资本还是另一家潜在收购方，均未提交任何经过修订或改善的后续提案。
目前，SkyCity管理层表示将继续专注于资产货币化计划，并持续推进对旗下阿德莱德业务（SkyCity Adelaide）的战略审查工作。公司方面未就上述收购讨论的后续进展提供更多细节。
