周一，美国国务院发布通告，建议在巴林、埃及、伊朗、伊拉克、以色列、约旦河西岸及加沙地带、约旦、科威特、黎巴嫩、阿曼、卡塔尔、沙特阿拉伯、叙利亚、阿联酋和也门的美国公民尽快离境。
声明指出，中东地区需要领事协助的美国公民可拨打+1-202-501-4444寻求帮助。
国务卿马可·鲁比奥周一警示"美军最猛烈的打击尚未到来"，与此同时，伊朗指挥官威胁将袭击穿越霍尔木兹海峡的船只。
