Shangri-La Asia Limited (00069) Announces SHMB (SHANG) Q4 2025 Results with Higher Revenue and Profit

Shangri-La Asia Limited (00069) has announced the fourth-quarter 2025 financial results of its 52.78%–owned subsidiary, Shangri-La Hotels (Malaysia) Berhad (SHMB), listed on Bursa Malaysia under the stock name SHANG.

SHMB recorded fourth-quarter revenue of 139.30 million MYR, up from 132.44 million MYR in the same period last year. Profit before tax improved to 11.57 million MYR from a loss of 1.87 million MYR a year earlier. Profit after tax grew to 7.12 million MYR compared to a loss of 3.44 million MYR, and profit attributable to ordinary equity holders rose to 5.45 million MYR from a loss of 4.03 million MYR.

For the full year ended 31 December 2025, SHMB’s revenue was 544.03 million MYR, an increase from 535.30 million MYR in 2024. Profit before tax grew from 52.66 million MYR to 70.06 million MYR, and profit attributable to ordinary equity holders increased to 41.43 million MYR from 29.25 million MYR. Basic earnings per share rose to 9.42 sen from 6.65 sen. Net assets per share registered at 1.80 MYR, compared with 1.77 MYR at the end of 2024.

A final single-tier dividend of 6.00 sen per ordinary share has been proposed, with an ex-date of 9 June 2026 and a payment date of 29 June 2026, subject to shareholder approval at the upcoming annual general meeting. The total dividend for the year, including interim dividends, amounts to 9.00 sen per share, up from 8.00 sen in the previous year.
