AMC院线首席执行官亚当·阿伦在X平台上对Robinhood Markets的弗拉德·特内夫发难，起因是这家券商推出了AMC股票代币。目前，AMC已成为逾190家公司及ETF中的一员，这些标的均与Robinhood旗下子公司在距美国约3000英里外的一座岛屿上注册的代币挂钩。
特内夫对此回应：“有什么可担心的？”
阿伦的批评聚焦于多个层面：泽西岛作为海峡群岛中最大的岛屿，并不受美国证券法管辖。他还指出，第三方代币作为衍生品，会干扰企业筹集资本的能力；同时，代币投资者并不能真正获得公司股权及相应的股东权益。
阿伦写道：“你在泽西岛上炮制的这个准虚假市场，正在公众心中播下对金融市场整体的不信任种子。”
这位AMC掌门人直斥此举“可鄙、令人发指、恶心、可憎、不可原谅、卑劣至极”，并强调这家影院运营商与这些代币发行毫无关联，也绝不予以认可。
特内夫的回应则是：“我们坚定支持股票代币。”
