Wang On Group completes 420 million-share buy-back; outstanding share count unchanged at 14.17 billion

Wang On Group Limited disclosed that it has repurchased a total of 420.00 million ordinary shares on the Hong Kong Stock Exchange between 13 July and 21 July 2026 under its existing buy-back mandate approved on 19 August 2025.

Key details • Latest transaction: On 21 July 2026, the company bought back 60.00 million shares on-market at HKD 0.025 each, spending HKD 1.50 million. • Cumulative July activity: Including the six earlier daily trades (13–20 July) at HKD 0.022–0.024 per share, Wang On has repurchased 420.00 million shares this month for cancellation, representing 2.97% of the 14.17 billion shares outstanding when the mandate was granted. • Financial outlay: The aggregate cash consideration for the 420.00 million shares totals approximately HKD 9.73 million, implying a volume-weighted average buy-back price of HKD 0.023 per share. • Share capital position: All repurchased shares remain uncancelled as at 21 July 2026. Consequently, the issued share capital stands unchanged at 14.17 billion shares with no treasury stock. • Headroom under mandate: Post-buy-back, Wang On retains authority to repurchase up to a further 996.67 million shares before the mandate’s expiry. • Moratorium: The company is restricted from issuing new shares or selling treasury shares until 20 August 2026, in accordance with Main Board Rule 10.06(3)(a).

The board confirms that all repurchases complied with Hong Kong Stock Exchange regulations and that there have been no material changes to the explanatory statement dated 19 August 2025.
