Buyang International (02457) has released its financial results for the six months ending June 30, 2026, revealing a notable shift from profitability to a net loss during the period.
According to the company's interim announcement, total revenue for the period reached 197 million RMB, marking a solid increase of 14.1% compared to the same timeframe in the previous year. However, the company recorded a net loss of 968,000 RMB, a stark contrast to the profit it had posted in the corresponding period last year. The basic loss per share stood at 0.001 RMB.
The company attributed the revenue uptick primarily to stronger sales performance in the U.S. market, which helped drive top-line growth even as the bottom line turned negative.
