A new "Pang Gai Store" by WM (物美) is set to open in the northern Haidian district, with the WM Wanquan Kaisheng Store closing for renovations from October 23 to October 29, and reopening on October 30. Locals are encouraged to not miss out on the reopening! The redesigned WM Wanquan Kaisheng Store will enhance the availability of high-quality retail services in the region, contributing to WM’s expansion in northern Haidian. The store covers an area of approximately 4,500 square meters and has been a staple for residents of nearby communities, including Kaisheng Garden, Beichen Xianglu, Baijiatun Wangluoyuan, Baijiatun Shangjuyuan, Wanquan Village, and Shangfeng Shangshui.
From October 14 to October 22, prior to its temporary closure, the store will be clearing existing inventory, offering discounts of 20% to 50% on certain household goods and food items. Fresh produce will continue to be supplied daily to ensure essential needs are met, and exciting promotional deals will also be available.
WM aims to further enhance the retail network in the Haidian district through a strategy of "scattered points and relay services," extending a shopping experience that combines quality and community engagement to more streets. Data shows that the average daily sales and customer traffic of WM's renovated stores in Beijing have increased between 50% and 300% compared to pre-renovation levels, with positive market and customer feedback. Some stores, like the first store on Xueqing Road in Haidian District, have achieved a deli penetration rate exceeding 60%, with a rich selection of ready-to-eat, baked goods, and beverages effectively catering to the needs of younger consumers, garnering favorable reviews and becoming a “popular new choice” in the community.
The Wanquan Kaisheng Store will adhere to high standards set by WM’s approach to self-directed renovations, with 70% of new products being introduced. Categories such as deli, baked goods, fresh produce, and household goods will closely align with the PAN GAI standards, with about 80% of the product structure resembling that of PAN GAI. Additionally, the store is committed to enhancing employee welfare. Let's look forward to the exciting reopening of the WM Wanquan Kaisheng Store on October 30!
