Hong Kong's three major stock indices opened collectively higher today. The Hang Seng Index opened up 0.04% at 25,608.78 points. The Hang Seng Tech Index rose 0.66%, and the Hang Seng China Enterprises Index gained 0.12%.
Sector-wise, technology and internet stocks were mixed. Lenovo surged over 5%, and NetEase rose more than 4%. Baidu, Tencent, and JD.com fell nearly 1%. AI application stocks opened higher, with Zhipu AI climbing over 4%. Semiconductor shares continued their upward trend, with Hua Hong Semiconductor advancing over 4%. Some lithium battery stocks gained, as Contemporary Amperex Technology (CATL) jumped over 6%.
Three new stocks debuted today. DEEPZERO soared over 179% on its first trading day. Huaxida surged over 100%, and Yunyinggu Technology rose more than 22%.
