CHINASOFT INT'L (00354) announced that it has been selected as the lead partner for "Smart Transportation OpenHarmony Innovation Applications and HarmonyOS Ecosystem Development" by Xi'an's Public Security Bureau Traffic Management Division, Xi'an Data Bureau, Xi'an Science and Technology Bureau, and Xi'an Industry and Information Technology Bureau. The company was chosen based on its deep technical expertise in OpenHarmony and extensive ecosystem development experience, and will collaborate with industry partners to help Xi'an establish a nationally leading smart transportation HarmonyOS technology ecosystem innovation pilot.

As the lead partner, CHINASOFT INT'L will unite with Gaotuo Technology Group Co., Ltd., Guangzhou Transport Planning Research Institute Co., Ltd., Guangzhou Municipal Engineering Design and Research Institute Co., Ltd., Shenzhen Kaihong Digital Industry Development Co., Ltd., Huawei Technologies Co., Ltd., Beijing ESWIN Computing Technology Co., Ltd., Digital Xi'an Technology Operations (Group) Co., Ltd., and other planning and design institutions, leading scenario application companies, adaptation center partners, and foundational technology vendors. Through an ecosystem collaboration model, the consortium will focus on four core tasks to achieve comprehensive implementation across consulting, planning, design, products, solutions, and industry applications in the smart transportation sector.

In terms of technical innovation, the initiative will focus on data management and platform integration, system equipment transformation, and develop comprehensive lifecycle management solutions for HarmonyOS-based device data governance, including collection, management, and application, addressing the integration challenges between OpenHarmony and existing transportation systems.

For ecosystem infrastructure development, the company will lead the establishment of an OpenHarmony foundational technology adaptation (certification) and product development center, providing one-stop services from adaptation certification to development support.

In product certification, the consortium will collaborate with adaptation center partners to promote ecosystem product compatibility, providing compliant and high-quality product selection criteria for smart transportation project implementation.

For industrial coordination, through product upgrades, collaborative innovation, and investment linkage, the initiative aims to help Xi'an form an OpenHarmony software-hardware integrated smart terminal industrial cluster, creating new growth drivers for regional industrial development.

This selection as lead partner represents Xi'an's high recognition of the company's technical capabilities and ecosystem development expertise in the OpenHarmony field. CHINASOFT INT'L will leverage the Xi'an project as an opportunity to fully utilize its experience advantages in OpenHarmony technical innovation, intelligent terminal adaptation, and industry solution implementation. By coordinating with industry chain partners, the company will accelerate the large-scale implementation of the "dual open-source" foundational technology platform comprising OpenHarmony and open-source chips, as well as OpenHarmony innovative applications, contributing to Xi'an's goal of establishing a national smart transportation innovation pilot and achieving systematic design that "drives industrial upgrade through technical adaptation and activates ecosystem value through scenario implementation."
