Shi Jian Approved as Director of China Construction Bank

On February 6, the National Financial Regulatory Administration issued an official approval confirming Shi Jian's qualification to serve as a director of China Construction Bank Co., Ltd.

Public records indicate that Shi Jian was born in January 1974 and graduated from Tianjin University of Finance and Economics with a bachelor's degree in economics in 1996. He currently holds the position of Assistant President at China Great Wall Asset Management Co., Ltd., a role he has occupied since 2021. Between 2018 and 2023, he also served concurrently as the company's Board Secretary. In November 2025, he was elected as a non-executive director of China Construction Bank.

Shi Jian began his career at the Ministry of Finance in July 1996. From November 1999 to November 2011, he held various positions at China Great Wall Asset Management, including staff member and deputy division-level secretary in the General Office, as well as deputy division chief and division chief in the Investment Management Department. Between November 2011 and December 2017, he served as Assistant General Manager of the Investment (Investment Banking) Division, Assistant General Manager and Deputy General Manager of the Asset Management Division, and General Manager of the Sichuan Branch. From December 2017 to June 2021, he was Director of the Board Office (Strategic Investment and Listing Office) at China Great Wall Asset Management. He also held the position of Board Secretary from May 2018 to March 2023.
